Kibbeh

Lebanese national dish made from fine bulgur wheat blended with extra-lean ground lamb into a smooth, elastic paste. The paste is shaped around a spiced lamb and pine nut filling, then fried or baked until golden and crispy. Kibbeh is the centerpiece of Levantine mezze and appears in more than a dozen regional variations across Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
